Listing will be updated in the next 24 hours. It is a good runner, I have been using it daily as it is, and so could you, but it has covered an impressive 305k miles and is far from a perfect example. I bought this car as a cheap runabout for a few months and ended up keeping it for a year and a little over 10k miles. It is comfy, spacious, cheap to run and reliable. Not having owned an estate before I particularly liked the load space, as well as the clever underfloor storage, retractable luggage cover and pull up dog guard though I don’t actually have a dog! But I have moved on to a new car now and so this one has to go. If I could keep it, I would, but my misses doen’t understand the need for multiple vehicles. The engine runs well and has never let me down, it has had a lot of servicing and replacment parts in the past. Parts I have replaced in my ownership include radiator, intercooler, headlight and entire ECU, ignition, security system and key set. The car has recently passed MOT so won’t need a test until mid January 2018. The car has also been valeted before being parked up a few days ago, so is clean inside and out. The car has high miles, by anyone’s standards. But this is a diesel Toyota, it was built to last. There are some faults, in fact there are quite a few, but nothing too major. Many are quite an easy fix using cheap breaker parts if you have to skills and time to do them yourself. Front shocks are fairly worn out, have been like this since I got it, can crash into potholes and be a little wallowy over humps but mostly unoticable. One front wheel bearing is loose which was advisory on MOT, the tester said it could be tightened and may not need replacing. There are a few scuffs here and there on the body as you might expect with this milage, but the old girl scrubs up quite nicely, as the photos show. I also added 3 of some of the worst body damage. Same goes for the wheels, some scuffing and kurbing is evident, I have added a phot of the WORST one. The spare wheel is a matching alloy but the tyre is completely shot and needs replacing. One tyre is wearing unevenly, noted on MOT, probably tracking a little off. The heater matrix has been bypassed in the engine bay, so there is no heating. The air con has never worked either. The blowers don’t even work, I suspect a loose connection to the wiring plug behind it. The radio also has a loose connection at the back, sometimes it works fine, sometimes the sound speakers cut in and out, which can get annoying. Front passenger window mech looks like it has previously snapped and been welded back together, and has now bent on the weld. The window goes down, but is a nightmare to get back up. All other widows function correctly. Cheap part from a breaker. The flywheel started making some noises, then it stopped again, that was a few thousand miles ago, it chatters occasionally drives ok. The battery is getting weak, if driven regularly, and not drained with lights etc. On without the engine, then it will start. But if left a few days it will probably need help (jump leads/mains charger) new batetry reccommended. Although it’s 90% back together, a few smaller interior panels are not fitted, but they are all included. This is all I can think of right now, but will update the listing if I think of anything. As with any car sale, viewing is highly recomended. Car is in Exeter, message me to arrange a viewing. I forgot to mention, there is a slight oil leak, not sure exactly where from. I’ve topped up twice in 10k miles, just under 1L in total. Be warned, if you have a smart and clean driveway!
