This has been our car since new. Initially it covered easy motorway miles and since it transferred to my wife some 8 years ago, it has been a reliable and useful family car. The car has been maintained regardless of cost with high quality parts oils filters etc, because we have needed it to be reliable. Recently, it has had a replacement rear subframe and suspension arms, body rust proofing, new springs, new alternator and battery, full service and oil change 6000 miles ago (and every service interval since new). The car is fitted with Michelin Winter tyres about 1/2 worn. These can be used all year round. The Avensis is a wonderful car, smooth, quiet, quick and economical (running at about 48 mpg at present). The T Spirit was the top trim level at the time, with full leather. The car has been well looked after inside and out and the leather smells great. There are a few minor scrapes which can be seen in the photos, but the car still looks very tidy. We were not looking to replace the car yet and had intended to keep it for a few more years. However, we came across another vehicle by chance and have decided to take the opportunity to swap.
