Most of these cars are collected by me as non-runners, some with minor and some with major mechanical faults. I will try to identify these faults and describe them as best I can in the listings. This car was collected by us as a runner and direct from Arval. The car has covered 249,746 miles but comes with full Toyota service history and has been used by a Hospitality Company (Sodexho). We drove this car over 60 miles back to our premises and found the engine, clutch and brakes all performed as they should. However there is no 6th gear and when this is selected there is just a whirring noise from the gearbox and no drive at all. All the other gears seem fine and we drove this car back at 70 / 80 MPH on the motorway without any other issues. The gearbox will require attention / repairing prior to road use. The purchaser will need to investigate this themselves and further investigation is required to determine any faults and parts may need repairing / replacing to make good. The bodywork is in good condition all round with the exception of a few minor scuffs and dents the worst of which are pictured and circled. There are also a number of light stone chips around the front end. The interior of the car is in good condition and shows no undue signs of wear or tear but would benefit from a valet. We are in possession of the V5 registration document showing 0 former keeper and the key for the vehicle. We also have a service booklet with 19 Toyota main dealer stamps up to 236,933 on the 08th December 2015. We have checked with VOSA and found the car is also MOT’d until 14th April 2017 although we are not in possession of this. Date of first registration was 28/05/2009. All the tyres appear to be in good road legal condition. Collections – We operate from an un-staffed storage facility and collection is strictly by prior arrangement with us.
