Offered for sale is this Toyota Avensis D4D, this is a top spec model with sat nav, cd/radio controls on steering wheel and air conditioning. We have travelled 128,808 miles in this car as a family and it has served us well with the 7 seats proving invaluable. We have had no problems with the vehicle and thought everything was ok when we sent it to its MOT last week, however it did fail on the steering rack being insecure and the front brake pads and discs. These would need to be put right before the car would be road worthy again. I have photographed the main things I can find on the car high includes, a bit of rust on the bonnet (this is a tiny amount and the only rust I can find anywhere). A few paint chips on the bonnet. Paintwork damage on the rear right hand side due to reversing in to a wheelbarrow a while ago! A tear/hole in the drivers seat. Anyone is welcome to come around and view the vehicle at any time, I have tried to describe the vehicle as best I can and highlight the main problems. On saying all of the above it is a lovely family car and when the problems are sorted I’m sure it would continue to be so for another family. Any questions please ask. The first is that the warning light has come on, we have had this checked over by the garage and was told that it was a’glow plug’ issue which we were assured was not a major problem and nothing to worry about. The second is that there had been some water getting in to the bottom of the boot which caused some wetness/dampness which might be an issue.
