Each map has different torque characteristics, power level and combustion limit. Thus, we can find both sports settings with the highest operating parameters, for everyday use, as well as those with which we can achieve a reduction in fuel consumption. Depending on our choice, we can ride more dynamically during shorter episodes in the city, or in a mixed cycle, or considerably more economically on long journeys. The increase in power, torque and combustion loss depends primarily on the output power of the car, the engine capacity and the technical condition of the car. ProRacing Chip Box CR-10 MAP is extremely easy to use. The MAP range allows you to adjust the settings to the needs and requirements of your engine. We can choose from. Economic maps – map numbers 10 to 8, which ensure the lowest fuel consumption while improving driving dynamics and improving engine performance. Depending on engine displacement, the fuel consumption can be reduced by about 1.5 l/100 km. Universal maps – 7 to 4 maps are for everyday driving, and they increase the power and torque and improve the engine performance, which translates to a reduction of fuel consumption by about 1.0 l/100 km. Sports maps – 3 to 1 maps are designed for dynamic driving on shorter routes, extracting maximum power and torque from the engine. We recommend that you start testing the device from economic programs (10-8) to more powerful programs, and by watching the occurring changes, select the optimal program. Chip Box CR-10 MAP? At the following picture you can find simplified installation scheme of the ProRacing® CR-10 MAP Chip Box. The device is prepared for quick installation in the engine compartment, in a suitable sensor on the Common Rail. Typical location of the sensor connection. The photos below present Common Rail bar with a plugin at the end. This is a plug of already mentioned pressure sensor. The plug may be located in the middle of the rail. Such a plug located in the middle of a rail can be headed downwards, straight or upwards. ASSEMBLY AND USE – IT IS VERY SIMPLE! You receive the set device and then plug it into the right sensor on the Common Rail. It is very easy. No mechanic or workshop visits! You enjoy a better, more comfortable ride. Included in the set you will receive detailed instructions for using the chip. QUICK INSTALLATION IN JUST 5 STEPS! Make sure the car’s engine is not working and all electric elements are in an OFF position. The key in the ignition ought to be in an OFF position, no devices such as navigation, car radio, air- conditioning, internal lighting etc. Ought to be working. If a car is not started with a key, the power ought to be cut off with a START/STOP button or by removing a card. After completing the connection correctly switch on the ignition turn the key in the ignition not starting the engine! The device should be started.
